Porsche just announced a new Macan GTS SUV, with 375 horsepower and a 0-60 mph time of 4.5 seconds

Now joining the Macan in Macan S in Porsche bestselling lineup of crossover SUVs is the Macan GTS, Porsche announce on Monday.
The Macan GTS has been absent from the range since 2018, but it rejoins its peppy brethren next summer, with a base price of $71,300.
According to Stuttgart - or more accurately, Porsche of North America - the Macan GTS offers a 15-horsepower bump on the previous version, thanks to a 2.9-liter, twin-turbocharged V6, making 375 ponies.
Throw in a dual-clutch transmission and you've got "zero to 60 mph in 4.7 seconds, or to the same speed in 4.5 seconds with the optional Sport Chrono package, and on to a top track speed of 162 mph," Porsche said in a statement.
The torque is a tasty 383 pound-feet, and the adaptive-air suspension can drop the Macan GTS 10 millimeters, aiding higher-speed aerodynamics.
We were pretty jazzed by the Macan GTS when we sampled it in 2018. At the moment, with no Macan Turbo currently available (we liked it, too), the GTS is the gnarliest Macan that's going to hit the road for Porsche in the coming year.
The GTS's interior looks to be suitably sporty. An "optional GTS interior package," Porsche said, provides "leather with Carmine Red or Chalk stitching plus additional Alcantara features, the Bose Surround Sound system, and [a] new smartphone tray with inductive charging function are among the many personalization options."
The automaker added that "[p]ark Assist including Surround View, a heated windshield, and ionizer are available as optional equipment to improve comfort."
