On the Multi Commodity Exchange, nickel contracts for March delivery gained Rs 2.20, or 0.25 per cent, to Rs 868.50 per kg in a business turnover of 130 lots.
Similarly, the metal for April delivery traded higher by 40 paise, or 0.05 per cent, at Rs 865.50 per kg in a business turnover of 1,602 lots.
