Mustard seed futures drop on muted demand

New Delhi, Mar 24 () Mustard seed prices on Tuesday dropped by Rs 32 to Rs 4,085 per quintal in futures trade as participants reduced their holdings on sluggish demand.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, mustard seed contracts for April delivery fell by Rs 32, or 0.78 per cent, to Rs 4,085 per quintal in a business turnover of 16,800 lots.

Mustard seed contracts for delivery in May declined by Rs 7, or 0.18 per cent, to Rs 3,991 per quintal in a business turnover of 16,240 lots.
