On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, mustard seed for delivery in April rose by Rs 37, or 0.94 per cent, to Rs 3,975 per quintal with an open interest of 15,720 lots.
Similarly, the delivery for May went up by Rs 49, or 1.25 per cent, to Rs 3,960 per quintal with an open interest of 15,300 lots.
Marketmen said apart from restricted arrivals from growing belts, demand from oil mills in spot market mainly lifted mustard seed prices here. VHP SHWSHW
