Mahindra Logistics unveils Alyte service in city

Chennai, Apr 13(): Third-party logistics providerMahindra Logistics Ltd on Monday launched Alyte that wouldprovide emergency cab services to those affected by thecoronavirus in Chennai making it the fourth city to have sucha service.

Alyte would provide service to senior citizens,physically-challenged individuals, pregnant women who unableto transport for essential services.

The company has unveiled the service in Hyderabad, NewDelhi, Kolkata.

Alyte would operate 24*7 in association with GreaterChennai Corporation within the Chennai city limits.

"These are difficult and unprecedented times for oursociety. It requires a combined effort from all stake holdersto combat the crisis...we will continue to support theseefforts in all possible manner," companyManaging Director andCEO, Rampraveen Swaminathan said.
