On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum contracts for May delivery traded higher 1.49 per cent, or Rs 76, to Rs 5,160 per five quintal with an open interest of 280 lots.
Likewise, the contracts for delivery in June rose by Rs 80, or 1.55 per cent, to Rs 5,230 per five quintal as open interest stood at 39,500 lots.
