On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum contracts for May delivery traded higher 1.12 per cent, or Rs 57, to Rs 5,142 per five quintal with an open interest of 2,240 lots.
Likewise, the contracts for delivery in June rose by Rs 63, or 0.96 per cent, to Rs 5,190 per five quintal as open interest stood at 38,490 lots.
