Cottonseed oil cake futures gain on spot demand

New Delhi, Mar 27 () Cottonseed oil cake prices on Friday gained 0.25 per cent to Rs 2,010 per quintal in futures trade due to creation of fresh positions by traders amid upbeat trend at the spot market.On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake contracts for April delivery rose by Rs 5, or 0.25 per cent, to Rs 2,010 per quintal in 47,260 lots.Cottonseed oil cake contracts for May gained Rs 17, or 0.85 per cent, to Rs 2,024 per quintal in 29,920 lots.Marketmen said raising of positions by participants amid rising demand from cattle feed makers mainly influenced prices here.
