On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, coriander for April delivery shot up by Rs 15, or 0.27 per cent, to Rs 5,555 per quintal with an open interest of 6,080 lots.
Similarly, the spice for May delivery traded higher by Rs 74, or 1.33 per cent, at Rs 5,640 per quintal in 2,740 lots.
A firm trend in spot market and restricted supplies from producing regions pushed coriander prices up, market analysts said. VHP SHWSHW
