Copper futures dip on weak demand

New Delhi, Feb 7 () Copper futures on Friday traded 0.36 per cent lower at Rs 433.95 per kg as speculators reduced their exposure on weak spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for February delivery fell by Rs 1.55, or 0.36 per cent, to Rs 433.95 per kg in a business turnover of 2,686 lots.

Similarly, copper contracts for March delivery traded lower by Rs 1.80, or 0.41 per cent, at Rs 435.50 per kg in a business turnover of 40 lots.

Traders said subdued demand in spot market mainly pushed down copper prices here. VHP SHWSHW
