Chennai, Mar 17 (): Avtar Group, a city-based leader indiversity and inclusiveness consulting, on Tuesday said it hasunveiled Flexcurity to provide solutions for organisationsimplementing the 'Work From Home' facility to its employees inthe wake of coronavirus outbreak. Flexcurity is a suite of assessments and algorithmscreated by Avtar that proposes to untangle the conundrum ofbusinesses and teams which are unprepared for remote workforcemanagement, a press release said. "Flexcurity was developed in response to a need oforganisations that wanted remote working as a work-lifeintegration initiative," Avtar Group founder-presidentSaundarya Rajesh said. According to the release, Avtar said more than 58per cent of organisations are unprepared to deal with remoteworking without a sizeable dip in revenue. The assessment model has been updated and modified to suita range of jobs and disciplines that have emerged as a two-step process of flexidizing and unbundling jobs. Flexcurity is an extended assessment that allows decision-makers even in small business units and micro, small andmedium enterprises to determine jobs that can be performed100 per cent as effectively as from the office. The solution also suggests which combination of remoteworking would best suite a particular job. While the sectors such as technology, banking andfinancial services are not location-specific and benefit fromadvantages of work from home, sectors like manufacturing andpharmaceuticals would find it hard to employ flexibility. "Certain jobs demand physical presence of an employee willexperience loss of productivity and this could definitelybecome a cause of concern", she added. VIJVIJNVG NVG
