The Tata Punch, an affordable SUV from Tata Motors is on the first position with 17,547 cars sold in March 2024, up from 10,894 cars sold in March 2023, an increase of 61.1 percent.

Hyundai Creta, a popular SUV from the Korean automaker, is second on the list. Hyundai sold 16,458 units of Creta in March 2024, up from 14,026 cars sold in March 2023, registering a growth of 17.33 percent.

The Maruti Suzuki WagonR, one of the company’s most popular cars, has emerged as its top selling car in March 2024, with 16,368 cars sold during the month, down from 17,305 cars sold in March 2023, a decline of 5.4 percent.

The Maruti Suzuki Dzire has reported a decent increase in sales year-on-year. The car’s sales increased to 15,894 units in March 2024 from 13,394 in March 2023, a 18.7 percent increase.

The Maruti Suzuki Swift, the company’s most popular hatchback, has reported a slight year-on-year decline in sales. The company sold 15,728 cars in March 2024, down from 17,559 cars in March 2023, a decline of 10.4 percent.

The Maruti Suzuki Baleno has also reported a small year-on-year decline in sales. The company sold 15,588 cars in March 2024, down from 16,168 cars sold in March 2023, a 3.6 percent year-on-year decline.

The Mahindra Scorpio SUV is the seventh most selling car, with 15,151 units sold in March 2024, up from 8,788 vehicles sold in March 2023, an increase of 72.4 percent.

The next car on the list is the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga. The company sold 14,888 cars in March 2024, up from 9,028 cars sold in March 2023, a 65 percent year-on-year increase.
