The Tata Punch, an affordable SUV from Tata Motors is in the first position with 19,158 cars sold in April 2024, up from 10,934 cars sold in April 2023, an increase of 75.2 percent.

The Maruti Suzuki WagonR, one of the company’s most popular affordable cars, has emerged as its top-selling car in April 2024, with 17,850 cars sold during the month, down from 20,879 cars sold in April 2023, a decline of 14.5 percent.

Maruti Suzuki Brezza was the third most selling car in April 2024, with 17,113 cars sold during the month, up from 11,836 cars sold in April 2023, an increase of 44.58 percent.

The Maruti Suzuki Dzire has reported a good year-on-year increase in sales. The car’s sales increased to 15,825 units in April 2024 from 10,132 in April 2023, a 56.18 percent increase.

Hyundai Creta, a popular SUV from the Korean automaker, is fifth on the list and the only car from the company. The company sold 15,447 units of the car in April 2024, up from 14,186 cars sold in April 2023, registering a growth of 8.88 percent.

The Mahindra Scorpio SUV is the sixth most selling car in the month, with 14,807 units sold in April 2024, up from 9,617 vehicles sold in April 2023, an increase of 53.97 percent.

The recently launched Maruti Suzuki Fronx is seventh on the list, with 14,286 cars sold in April 2024, up from 8,784 cars sold in April 2024, registering a 62.64 percent growth.

The Maruti Suzuki Baleno has also reported a year-on-year decline in sales. The company sold 14,049 cars in April 2024, down from 16,180 cars sold in April 2023, a 13.17 percent year-on-year decline.

The next car on the list is the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga. The company sold 14,888 cars in April 2024, up from 9,028 cars sold in April 2023, a 65 percent year-on-year increase.

Maruti Suzuki Eeco, the affordable van from the company, reported a sale of 12,060 units in April 2024, down from 10,504 units sold in April 2023, recording a 14.81 percent growth.
