Hyundai Creta, a popular SUV from the Korean automaker, emerged as the top-selling car in July 2024. The company sold 17,350 units of Creta in July 2024, up from 14,062 vehicles sold in July 2023, registering a growth of 23.38 percent.

The Maruti Suzuki Swift, the company’s most popular hatchback is second on the list with 16,854 cars sold in July 2024, down from 17,896 cars sold in July 2023. The car reported a 5.82 percent year-on-year decline in sales.

The Maruti Suzuki WagonR, one of the company’s most popular cars, has emerged as the country’s third most selling car in July 2024, with 16,191 cars sold during the month, up from 12,970 cars sold in July 2023, recording a growth of 24.83 percent.

The Tata Punch, an affordable SUV from Tata Motors is in the fourth position with 16,121 cars sold in July 2024, up from 12,019 cars sold in July 2023, an increase of 34.13 percent.

The next car on the list is the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga. The company sold 15,701 cars in July 2024, up from 14,352 cars sold in July 2023, a 9.4 percent year-on-year growth in sales.

Maruti Suzuki Brezza was the sixth top-selling car in July 2024, with 14,676 cars sold during the month, up from 16,543 cars sold in July 2023, a decline of 11.29 percent.

Tata Nexon, another popular SUV from Tata Motors is seventh on the list, with 13,902 cars sold during July 2024, down from 12,349 cars sold in July 2023, registering a year-on-year growth of 12.58 percent.

The Mahindra Scorpio SUV is the eighth most selling car in July 2024, with 12,237 units sold during the month, up from 10,522 cars sold in July 2023, an increase of 16.3 percent.

Maruti Suzuki Eeco, the affordable van from the company, reported a sale of 11,916 units in July 2024, down from 12,037 units sold in July 2023, recording a decline of 1.01 percent.

The Maruti Suzuki Dzire has reported a year-on-year decline in sales. The car’s sales decreased to 11,647 units in July 2024 from 13,395 in July 2023, registering a 13.05 percent decline in sales.
