Royal Enfield CEO Siddhartha Lal will launch the Himalayan 450 ADV motorcycle in India on November 24 at Motoverse 2023, their annual fest in Goa.

The Himalayan 450 is expected to be priced around ₹2.5 lakh to ₹2.6 lakh in India. It will be placed below the company’s 650-cc series which is priced above ₹3.25 lakh.

The Himalayan 450 will be available in three variants at launch – Base, Pass and Summit. In terms of colour options, customers will have the option to pick from five colours.

The Himalayan 450 features a modern rugged design, a new LED headlight and comes with a redesigned fuel tank. It features a windscreen, redesigned LED indicators, and more.

The Himalayan 450 has an all new single-cylinder liquid-cooled 452cc engine and has been codenamed Sherpa 450. This is also the first liquid-cooled engine from the company.

The new engine from Royal Enfield delivers a power output of 40 bhp at 8,000rpm and 40 Nm of peak torque at 5,500rpm.

The Himalayan 450 offers two primary riding modes – Eco and Performance. You can also select if you want to keep the rear ABS on or off in both these modes.

Keeping in line with the modern design, the Himalayan 450 features a full-colour TFT display, screen mirroring, Google Maps support, and more.

The Himalayan 450 will compete with the likes of Triumph Scrambler 400 X and the KTM 390 Adventure.
