​Maruti Suzuki Jimny

The Maruti Suzuki Jimny is expected to launch in 2023. It is expected to be a 5-door version with seven seats. The SUV is likely to be powered by a 1.5-litre petrol engine.

​The car will support only manual transmission mode.

It is expected to launch at a starting price of ₹10 Lakhs. Jimny is likely to compete with off-roader cars like the Force Gurkha and Mahindra Thar.

​Mahindra Thar

Mahindra is expected to launch the 5-door Thar next year in January. At the moment, it is not clear whether Mahindra will bring the 5-door version in both hard and soft top variants.

​The 2023 Thar will be equipped with a 6-speed manual and 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox.

The 5-door model is anticipated to be available at a starting price of ₹14 Lakhs (ex-showroom). The upcoming 5-door Thar will feature a similar engine setup as its 3-door version.

​Maruti Suzuki YTB Baleno based SUV

Maruti is likely to bring its Baleno based SUV called YTB next year around April. The car will be powered by a 1.2-litre K-Series petrol engine.

​The YTB is expected to be a modified version of Baleno.

It will be available in both automatic and manual options.

​Hyundai Creta Facelift

Hyundai is expected to launch the new Creta Facelift version soon in India. The car will be available in six variant options and six colour options. It will support manual transmission mode only.

​The Facelift model will be available at a starting range of 10.5 lakh (ex-showroom).

The car will get some additional look and build changes as compared to its previous model.

​Skoda Octavia RS iV Plug in Hybrid

Skoda is working to bring its first plug-in hybrid model to India around mid-2023. The car is powered by a small 1.4-litre engine and paired with an 85kW electric motor.

​The engine options of the car are yet to be announced.

The plug-in hybrid model comes with a combined power of 241bhp. Also, it is expected to be powered by 400 Nm torque.
