Triumph has unveiled the Speed 400 and the Scrambler 400 X, its new roadster bikes in the premium segment.

The Triumph Speed 400 and the Scrambler 400 X are the first bikes to come out of Triumph and Bajaj’s partnership. The two companies have come together to design, engineer, and manufacture a range of motorcycles.

The Triumph Speed 400 and Scrambler 400 X will be launched in India on July 5.

The Triumph Speed 400 and the Scrambler 400 X are equipped with a 398cc liquid-cooled single cylinder engine.

The Triumph Speed 400 and the Scrambler 400 X offer a maximum power output of 39.5 bhp and a peak torque of 37.5 Nm.

The two bikes are equipped with a hybrid spine frame that is built using tubular steel. The Triumph Speed 400 is equipped with 17-inch wheels. The Scrambler 400 X offers a 19-inch and 17-inch alloy wheel combo.

The Triumph Speed 400 and Scrambler 400 X offer dual-channel ABS, assist clutch, LED lighting, semi-digital instrument dash, switchable traction control and more.

While the Triumph Speed 400 is expected to be priced around ₹3 lakh, the Scrambler 400 X is expected to be priced slightly higher.

The Triumph Speed 400 and Scrambler 400 X will take on the likes of the KTM 390 Duke, BMW G 310 R, Honda CB350RS, RE Classic and other similar bikes in India.

The new bikes have been designed by Triumph in Hinckley, UK and will be built by Bajaj in India.
