Today, we will look at some of the top BS6 compliant cars that you can get under ₹10 lakh in India.

Hyundai Creta – Starting at ₹9.99 lakh
Hyundai has launched fourteen variants of the BS6 compliant Creta with three engine options. The standard petrol variant is equipped with a 1.5-litre petrol engine that can develop 112 bhp of power and 144 Nm of peak torque. The second engine variant is equipped with a 1.4-litre Turbo GDi unit that can generate 138 bhp of power and 242 Nm of peak torque.
The third engine option is a 1.5-litre diesel engine that can generate 113 bhp of power and 250 Nm of peak torque.
Kia Seltos - Starting at ₹9.69 lakh
The Kia Seltos BS6 variant was launched in August 2019 and is available in two petrol and one diesel engine variant. The 1.4-litre petrol engine offers 140 PS of power and 242 Nm of peak torque, the 1.5-litre petrol engine offers 115 PS of power and 144 Nm of peak torque and the 1.5-litre diesel engine offers 115 PS of power and 250 Nm of peak torque.
Renault Duster – Starting at ₹8.49 lakh
Renault has announced the BS6 compliant variant of the Duster in India. The company has discontinued the 1.5-litre diesel engine and offers the car in a 1.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine that can develop 105 bhp of power and 142 Nm of peak torque.
The company is currently offering the car with five-speed manual gearbox transmission.
Maruti Ertiga – Starting at ₹7.59 lakh
The Maruti Ertiga was upgraded to BS6 in July last year and the company has discontinued the diesel engine. The new Ertiga is equipped with a 1.5-litre petrol engine that can develop 105 PS of power and 138 Nm of peak torque. The BS6 variants of the car are priced around ₹10,000 more than the BS4 variants.
Tata Nexon – Starting at ₹6.95 lakh
Tata Motors had announced the BS6 compliant Tata Nexon in January this year. The car is available in one petrol and one diesel variant. It features a 1.2-litre three-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine that generates 118 bhp of power and 170 Nm of peak torque. On the other hand, the 1.5-litre diesel engine generates 108 bhp of power and 260 Nm of peak torque.
Maruti Suzuki Swift – Starting at ₹4.99 lakh
Maruti Suzuki Swift, one of the most popular budget cars from the company is also available with a BS6 compliant engine. The car is equipped with the same engine as the Baleno. It is equipped with a 1.2-litre four-cylinder petrol engine that can generate 82 bhp of power and 113 Nm of peak torque.
The company has decided not to upgrade the 1.3-litre diesel engine.
Maruti Suzuki S-Presso – Starting at ₹3.69 lakh
The Maruti Suzuki S-Presso micro SUV was launched in September last year and is based on the company’s Heartect platform. It is equipped with a 1.0-litre K10B petrol engine that can develop 68 bhp of power and 90 Nm of peak torque.
