Tata Motors launches new Tiago trim with automatic transmission priced at ₹5.99 lakh (ex-showroom)

The key highlight of the new Tiago XTA variant includes its automated manual transmission gearbox.

Tiago has received a tremendous market response from across regions in India, the company said

Tiago XTA is the fourth car in Tata Motors’ line up to have received automatic transmission.

​The Tiago made its debut in the Indian markets originally in 2016.

And, the upgraded BS6 version of the same hatchback made its way later in 2020.

The Tiago has also achieved a 4-star safety rating by GNCAP.

​The car comes with a number of features, from a 7-inch infotainment system to automatic climate control…

...and 15-inch alloy wheels to a digital instrument cluster.

​A 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine powers the car…

...And, is capable of producing 85 horsepower and 113Nm of torque

The car is equipped with dual-airbags, with an anti-lock braking system & electronic brakeforce distribution…

...follow me home headlamps and rear parking sensors.

​The car comes with a manually controlled air-conditioning system...

But it does feature a remote keyless entry and electronically adjustable electric outside rear-view mirror.

Till date, the company has sold over 3.25 lakh units of Tiago in the domestic market.
