Tata Curvv vs Hyundai Creta – which car should you buy?

The Tata Curvv has been priced starting at ₹10 lakh (ex-showroom) and goes up to ₹19 lakh for the top variant. On the other hand, the Hyundai Creta starts at ₹11 lakh and goes up to ₹20.15 lakh.

The Tata Curvv features a coupe SUV design. It comes with a connected LED DRL bar, just like the new Nexon and Punch EV. It features squared-off wheel arches and a sloping roofline. The Hyundai Creta on the other hand features a muscular and sporty design. It comes with a revamped grille at the front, projector LED headlight, new DRLs, connected LED tail lamp and more.​

The Tata Curvv is available in three engine options –a 1.2-litre GDi petrol engine that develops 122 hp and 225 Nm of peak torque, a 1.2-litre petrol engine that delivers 117 hp and 170 Nm of peak torque and a 1.5-litre diesel engine that delivers 115 hp of power and 260 Nm of peak torque.

On the other hand, the Hyundai Creta is also offered in three engine options – a 1.5-litre petrol engine that offers 113 hp and 144 Nm of peak torque, the diesel engine offers 114 hp and 250 Nm of peak torque. The new 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine offers 158 hp power and 253 Nm of peak torque.

The Tata Curvv features a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, a 12.3-inch infotainment screen, ADAS Level 2, a panoramic sunroof and more. In terms of safety, the Curvv offers six airbags, three-point seatbelts, ABS, ADAS 2.0, electronic stability control and more.

On the other hand, the Hyundai Creta offers a 10.25-inch infotainment screen, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, ADAS Level 2 and more. The car’s safety features include six airbags, a 360-degree camera, blind spot monitoring and more.
