The Tata Altroz iCNG premium hatchback has finally been launched in India. The car’s deliveries will begin in May 2023.

Tata Motors has not announced the price of the Altroz iCNG yet. It is expected to be priced starting from around ₹7 lakh in the country.

The Tata Altroz iCNG is now available for pre-bookings from the company’s showrooms across the country. Interested buyers can pre-book the car by paying ₹21,000.

The Altroz iCNG retains the same design as its petrol variant. It comes with a iCNG badge on the tailgate.

The Altroz iCNG uses a new twin-cylinder CNG technology which offers a capacity of 60 liters, divided into two cylinders with a capacity of 30 liters each. In addition to increasing capacity, this also helps in increasing boot space.

The Tata Altroz iCNG has a 1.2-litre three-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine with the company’s new CNG system.

The Altroz iCNG offers 77 bhp of power and 97 nm of peak torque, less than the 86 bhp of power and 113 Nm of peak torque offered by the petrol variant.

The Altroz iCNG offers features such as cruise control, six airbags, automatic headlamps, a 7-inch touchscreen and more.

The Altroz iCNG is available in four colour options – Opera Blue, Downtown Red, Avenue White, and Arcade Grey.
