Royal Enfield Scram 411 launched in India — Checkout price, specs, features, and other details

Royal Enfield (RE) launched its Himalayan-based adventure motorcycle Scram 411 yesterday, March 15.

The new bike is said to be more road-friendly and simpler to manage, as per media reports.

RE Scram 411 will give a tough competition to KTM Duke 390, Bajaj Dominar 400, and KTM 390 Adventure.

Price

RE will be offering its new adventure bike starting at ₹2.03 lakh (ex-showroom) and can go up to ₹2.08 lakh for the top model.

Colours

The new bike is available in seven colours — White Flame, Graphite Blue, Graphite Red, Graphite Yellow, Blazing Black, Skyline Blue, and Silver Spirit.

Engine

The Scram 411 features the same 411cc single-cylinder and air-cooled engine with 24 horsepower (hp) at 6,500 revolutions per minute (rpm) and 32 newton-metre (Nm) of torque at 4,000-4,500 rpm.

Features

Unlike the Himalayan, the Scram 411 doesn’t feature a tall windscreen, wrap-around frame, secondary fender, rear luggage rack, and indicator lights for the rear. The split seats have also been replaced with single-seat.

Wheels

The Scram 411 gets smaller wheels than the Himalayan, which is 19-inch at the front with spoke wheels just like the Himalayan model.

Ground clearance

The ground clearance has also been lowered to 200 mm as compared to 220 mm in Himalayan.
