Royal Enfield launched the much-awaited next-gen Bullet 350 in India on Friday. The bike has received several changes, both internally and externally while retaining its iconic design.

The Bullet 350 is finally equipped with the 349cc J-platform engine that is used on other bikes from the company. The company has started accepting bookings for the bike.

“We have purposefully endeavoured to retain the essence of the legacy of the Royal Enfield Bullet as it readies to transition to a new form and avatar and steadfastly rides on to a century and beyond,” said B Govindarajan, chief executive officer, Royal Enfield.

The iconic classic design

While the next-gen Bullet 350 comes with several minor changes, the bike has retained its classic design, including a circular halogen headlamp, single-piece seat and the iconic stripes on the fuel tank.

The bike is equipped with a 349cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine that powers the company’s existing Meteor, Classic and Hunter bikes. It delivers a maximum power output of 20.2 bhp and 27 Nm of peak torque.
