Ola S1 and S1 Pro test rides begin in Delhi, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad and Kolkata, buyers from other cities complain

• Ola has started test rides for the S1 and S1 Pro electric scooters.
• Currently, customers from Delhi, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad and Kolkata can test ride the vehicle.
• Customers from other cities will be able to test ride the scooter in the coming days.

Ola Electric has started offering test rides for the Ola S1 and S1 Pro electric scooters in Delhi, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad and Kolkata. The company had earlier announced that all the customers who had pre-booked the scooter will be able to avail a test ride from November 10.

In a communication to customers, Ola has said, “Test rides starting in select cities from November 10, 20201 and will be rolled out across India in the next few weeks. Find the nearest Ola Test Ride Camp and book your slot now.”

Ola S1 test ride in Delhi

Customers from Delhi can test ride the Ola S1 and S1 Pro electric scooters in Forum (WeWork) in Cyber City.

Ola S1 test ride in Bengaluru

In Bengaluru, Customers can test ride the Ola S1 and S1 Pro electric scooters at Prestige Cube Laskar.

Ola S1 test ride in Ahmedabad

Customers from Ahmedabad can visit Himalaya Mall for a test ride of the Ola S1 and S1 Pro electric scooter.

Ola S1 test ride in Kolkata

Coming to Kolkata, customers can visit the South City Mall to test ride the Ola S1 and S1 Pro electric scooters.

How to book an Ola S1 test ride

At present, only selected customers who have pre-booked the Ola S1 or S1 electric scooter will be able to test ride the electric scooter. Customers will be able to pre-book the test ride using the Ola app.

Ola has asked customers visiting the test ride camp to carry the following items:

• Ola scooter order ID
• Driving licence
• Helmet

Customers from other cities complain

Ola had opened the pre-bookings for its scooters for several cities across the country but is currently offering test rides only in four cities.

While the company has claimed that test rides will begin in other cities in the coming weeks, customers from these cities have complained that the payment window for completing their booking will open before they can test the vehicle.
