The Maruti Suzuki Invicto, the rebadged version of the Toyota Innova Hycross and the company’s most expensive offering, is now available for bookings.

The Invicto will be manufactured at Toyota’s Bidadi plant in Karnataka.

The Maruti Suzuki Invicto is expected to be priced around ₹20 lakh (base model ex-showroom) in India. The company will accept bookings on payment of a token amount, which varies from ₹30,000 to ₹51,000.

The Maruti Suzuki Invicto multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) will be launched in India in July and will go on sale in the same month.

Just like the Innova Hycross, the Invicto is also expected to offer 7-seater and 8-seater configurations.

The Invicto will have two engine options. One, equipped with a 2.0-litre petrol engine with hybrid technology and the other a 2.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine only.

While the petrol variant will offer a power output of 176 PS, the petrol-hybrid variant will offer a maximum power output of 186 PS.

The Invicto is expected to feature a digital driver display, 10-inch infotainment screen, dual-zone climate control, ADAS and powered tailgate.

The Maruti Suzuki Invicto is part of the global Toyota-Suzuki partnership which includes sharing of Toyota’s Hybrid Electric Vehicle technology. Toyota Glanza, Urban Cruiser are among the cars that have already been launched as part of the partnership.
