Mahindra has officially launched Scorpio-N in India, the SUV is being available in five trim options Z2, Z4, Z6, Z8 and Z8L, both in diesel and petrol engine options.

Mahindra is taunting Scorpio-N as an urban SUV that has been built from the ground up. The Scorpio-N comes with a bunch of updates on the exterior and interior. The SUV will compete against Tata Safari, Tata Harrier, Hyundai Creta and Hyundai Alcazar.

The new generation Scorpio-N gets a bunch of features such as Alexa from Amazon, what3words navigation along with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also features front and rear cameras along with sensors, dual-zone fully automatic climate control, wireless charging and a twin dial cluster with a TFT display.

The SUV comes with two engine options, a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine with 198 BHP/ 380 Nm and a 2.2-litre diesel producing 173 BHP/ 400 Nm. Transmission options include a six-speed manual and a six-speed automatic.

2022 Scorpio is 206mm long and 97mm wide. It sports R18 and R17 diamond-cut alloy wheels and packs signature double-barrel LED projector headlamps. It has tall stacked LED tail lamps and electrically adjustable and foldable ORVMs.
