Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles on Thursday announced the launch of the new Jawa 42 Bobber Black Mirror in India. The Jawa 42 Bobber is the latest addition to the company’s Bobber line-up and has been placed at the top of the range. A Bobber is a motorcycle that has all its non-essential parts like the front-fender removed. Generally, these bikes are given a shortened rear fender and a lowered stance.

The Jawa 42 Bobber Black Mirror is part of the company’s ‘Factory Custom’ lineup. In addition to cosmetic changes from the standard variant, the Black Mirror edition also comes with a refined engine.

Jawa 42 Bobber Black Mirror price and availability

The Jawa 42 Bobber Black Mirror comes with an ex-showroom price of ₹2.25 lakh. The company has started accepting bookings for the bike at its Jawa Yezdi dealerships.

Jawa 42 Bobber Black Mirror features

The Jawa 42 Bobber Black Mirror features a chrome fuel tank that gives the bike a richer look. The company has also redesigned the gear and engine covers of the bike and the side panel spells out “42 Bobber”.

The Jawa 42 Bobber Black Mirror also gets alloy wheels, something which was missing from the standard Bobber. The alloy wheels are offered in a dual-tone design and come with tubeless tyres.

The Jawa 42 Bobber Black Mirror is equipped with a 334cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine. It is capable of delivering a maximum power output of 29.49 bhp and 32.7Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated with a 6-speed transmission, enhanced with an Assist & Slipper Clutch.

The company has also reduced the idling RPM from 1,500 to 1,350.
