Hyundai has showcased the Ioniq 5, an electric SUV, in India ahead of its launch at the Auto Expo. Customers can book the Ioniq 5 EV by visiting the company’s website and paying an amount of ₹1 lakh.

The car is 4,635 mm long, 1,890 mm wide, and 1,605 mm tall. It has a 3,000 mm wheelbase.

The company has not revealed any powertrain details yet, but it is expected to be equipped with a 72.6kWh battery, which will give it an ARAI-certified range of 631km on a single charge.

Hyundai claims to offer a top speed of 185 kph, which can zip from 0-100 kph in just 6.1 seconds.

Hyundai Ioniq 5 EV comes with an ultra-fast charging capability of 10 to 80 percent in just 18 minutes via a 350kw DC charger. Besides this, it is equipped with a multi-charging system with 400V and 800V to reduce waiting times at charging stations.
