Bajaj, Hero, Honda and TVS announce discounts on BS4 vehicles

- With the Supreme Court extending the BS4 deadline, leading two-wheeler manufacturers announced discounts on a wide range of BS4 bikes and scooters.
- This includes Bajaj, Hero, Honda and TVS, among others, with discounts of up to ₹18,000.
- Customers will be able to buy BS4 vehicles for 10 days after the lockdown ends on April 14.

After the Supreme Court extended the BS4 deadline, leading two-wheeler companies Bajaj, Hero, Honda and TVS announced a range of discounts on bikes and scooters. The time to capitalize on these offers on BS4 bikes and scooters is here. BS4, or Bharat Stage 4 is an emission norm that is being phased out by the Indian government. Initially, the BS4 deadline was March 31, 2020, but due to the ongoing nationwide lockdown due to Coronavirus, the Supreme Court has extended it to April 24, 2020.
As a result of the lockdown, Indian automakers currently have unsold inventory worth ₹6,400 crore.

Is it legal to buy BS4 bikes and scooters now?
The Supreme Court allowed companies to sell their existing BS4 vehicles till April 24, 2020. When the lockdown comes to an end on April 14, you will be able to buy a BS4 vehicle legally for the next 10 days.

Many companies are also taking orders online, so you can go ahead and reserve your vehicle and purchase it once the lockdown ends.
Discounts on BS4 bikes and scooters
Leading two-wheeler manufacturers like Bajaj, Hero, Honda and TVS are offering discounts up to ₹18,000 on their bikes and scooters. In addition to this, you can get discounts of up to ₹2,65,000 on premium sports bikes as well from companies like KTM and Honda.
