Ahead of Narendra Modi's oath-taking ceremony, which is likely to be held on May 26, Cabinet Secretary Ajit Kumar Seth has asked top bureaucrats to prepare a presentation of the achievements and failures of the outgoing Congress-led UPA government.

The presentation will also feature pending issues and steps that need to be taken later by the new BJP government at the Centre.

The cabinet secretary also asked top bureaucrats not to travel abroad until Modi-led BJP government takes charge.

He has also directed the officials, required to travel abroad for pressing engagements, to seek prior written approvals before leaving the country.

According to sources, Seth has directed all central secretaries to include five important achievements, failure and steps their respective departments would like to take to bring India's economy back on track.
