Jaitley yet again sets higher allocation for higher education, skill India

Finance Minister Arun Jaitley proposed a higher allocation in education sector with a special focus on employment and skilling Indians.

Yet again Jaitley emphasised on higher education and announced setting up of a higher education Financing Agency with a fund of Rs 1,000 crore.

He also spoke about entrepreneurship and set an objective to skill one crore in next three years under the PM Kaushal Vikas Yojana.

This is being done to increase the formal sector employment.

He also spoke about Digital India and spoke about digital depistory for school leaving certificates.
