manufacturing unit in Gujrat that will cater to bakery products. The unit was set up with an investment of 75-100 crores and will help the company increase their share in states like Maharashtra and
Madhya Pradesh, apart from Gujarat itself.
Britannia already has manufacturing units in
Bihar, Orrisa and Tamil Nadu. With the addition of the Gujarat factory, the company can easily reach West Indian states and save on transportation and allied costs.
