'Breaking Bad' Finale Crushes Its Own Ratings Record
10.3 million tuned in to watch the end of AMC's hit series, according to numbers from Nielsen.
9 million people were anticipated to tune in to see the end of Walter White's run as meth kingpin Heisenberg.
AMC says that number is 300% times the viewership of the season 4 finale which had 1.9 million viewers.
The highest viewership for the series prior to this was 6.6 million viewers who had tuned into the series' penultimate episode.
Over on Showtime, 1.9 million people tuned in to the "Homeland" season 3 premiere.
The "Breaking Bad" finale also beat numbers for ABC, CBS, and, FOX during the 9 p.m. slot.
