If a celebrity gains 10-15 kilos suddenly, the pressure comes directly on joints and bones.
“Within a month, you can only gain fat not muscle because to gain three kilo muscle, it takes around one year and a dedicated diet plan. To gain 10 kilos fat is easy and this sudden gain can cause swollen feet, you can feel heaviness while moving around and efficiency also goes down because of fatigue,” said celebrity trainer Vinod Channa.

As per reports, Aamir Khan, who gained around 90 kilos for his upcoming Bollywood movie Dangal, had some respiratory issues.
“These are all temporary effects and you can control that with exercises and nutrition plan. Puffiness of face and any other body part that are storage areas of fat comes are common and they go. But, one should be careful. Celebrities should slowly and steadily progress for better shape as per the requirements of the role. In case of less time in hand, they should hire well experienced fitness expert who can guide them without any harm and take them to the next level,” said Channa.

“Though most of our actors are dedicated to health and are perfecting their bodies for their varied roles through mind and body wellness routines, I have seen some very fit people destroy themselves while pursuing such goals. The keys to healthy weight loss and for looking good include incorporating healthy eating plans and regular physical activity,” said Mehta.
Such rapid changes in the body weight sometimes damage bodies for life.
“Extreme diets can wreck your skin’s elasticity, skin tone, hair lustre, making you look anorexic and pale. It can lead to early aging, poor concentration, confusion, low energy levels, depression and irritability. The low fibre content of such diets causes digestive disorders with lowered haemoglobin levels and development of anaemia and vitamin B-12 deficiency. Long term use of such diets, injudicious use of supplements, steroids etc and over exercises can lead to suppression of fertility hormones, lowered sex drive, poor bone density and vital organ damage,” said Mehta.
