Blogging gets a facelift: Alibaba's UC-Web to pay minimum Rs. 50,000 per month to bloggers

Mobile Internet and services provider UCWeb has announced a new remuneration program, 'We-Media Reward Plan 2.0' with an initial investment of 50Million.

UCWeb's content distribution platform UC News has over 80 million monthly active users in India. UCWeb is hoping to emerge as the No. 1 content generation and service platform in India in 2017.

The company will be investing Rs. 2 Billion for driving content distribution in India and Indonesia over the next two y


With this reward plan in India's content industry, UCWeb recruit 1000 writers in India who will be able to earn at least Rs. 50,000 per month through the UC News platform. Any writer or blogger with registered account for more than 30 days on UC News with more than 10 articles successfully published in the last one month can apply for the reward.
