BLACKBERRY CEO THORSTEN HEINS IS OUT

BlackBerry CEO Thorsten Heins is reportedly out and the company is looking for a replacement. The company has abandoned plans to go private.

BlackBerry accepted a $4.7 billion offer from private equity firm Fairfax Holdings to go private. However, that deal has fallen through. It now looks like BlackBerry will remain a public company and attempt a new direction with a new CEO.
