Bibi said that Modi’s upcoming visit to Israel would mark a change in the country's status.

Modi would be the first Indian PM to visit Israel, specifically Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, most probably between July 4 and 6.

As per an official from the Israel Prime Minister's Office, other than potential agreements in the area of cyber security, Israel would also showcase the technologies it has in the area of water and agriculture.

PM Bibi was speaking at the 7th edition of the annual Cyber Week conference in Tel Aviv, where PM Netanyahu stressed on the growing potential of cyber security.

"Most of the governments... in fact all governments in the world today are interested in cooperation with Israel in cyber security. Next week, my friend Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi is coming to visit. We look forward to see him. This is an expression of the change in Israel's status," he said.

He added that continuous efforts in the field of cyber security have led to around 20% of all private investments coming to Israel.

"As we have a lot of startups and have demonstrated success, Israel has become attractive for investment in the cyber security space."

In the past, Modi too has stressed about the importance of securing the cyber borders, going on to say that the next war will be fought in the cyber area.
