Bhansali turns writer for sister, yet again

Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali, who is busy completing his magnum opus Bajirao Mastani has taken out time to pen down a love story for his sister Bela Sehgal’s next directorial venture.

Bela, who was earlier an editor, is known for directing Boman Irani and Farah Khan starrer Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi. The story was about two 40-plus Parsis who find love in odd circumstances, only to be opposed by the society. The story of Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi was also written by Bhansali, but had failed to weave any magic at the box office.

Talking of Bajirao Mastani, the teaser of the film was launched a few days back, and looks grand in stature. The movie stars Ranveer Singh as Peshwa Bajirao, Priyanka Chopra as his wife Kashibai and Deepika Padukone as his lover Mastani.
