POCO F1
Price: ₹ 19,999
The Xiaomi’s sub brand has been in India for little over a year and POCO F1 was the first phone that they launched in India — and after its recent price cut, it falls into the under-₹20,000 category.
The phone’s biggest selling point is the fact that it comes with the Snapdragon 845 chipset making it the only phone in the sub-₹20,000 category to offer flagship level performance — ideal for multitasking and capable of supporting heavy gaming.
Its 4,000mAh battery is capable of giving out one day worth of energy under normal usage which means limited gaming and use video streaming, but everything else can be used full throttle.

Xiaomi Mi A2
Price: ₹11,999
The Xiaomi Mi A2 isn’t the newest phone on the block, especially with the release of the Xiaomi Mi A3 around the corner. But, it’s one of the few phones in the under ₹20,000 range that gives users a stock android experience with reasonable specs to back it up.
Its camera specifications are top of the line with a dual camera setup in the rear and a powerful 20MP selfie camera in the front.
The benefits of buying a stock android phone is that you’ll always be one of the first to get an Android update once Google rolls it out.
Its battery size is a little underwhelming at 3,010mAh, so it’s probably a good idea to invest in a power bank while buying the phone.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro
Price: ₹ 13,999

The Xiaomi’s Redmi series is a value-for-money option when you’re going shopping for a new smartphone. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro comes with the added benefit of having a 48MP in the back with a 5MP sensor to boot. Its the only phone under ₹20,000 that has a camera with that kind of megapixel count.
If you’re operating on a budget, it’s a reliable phone to buy that packed with features normally seen on flagship devices like Fast Charge 4.0, USC Type-C charging port and a bunch of software tweaks.
Samsung Galaxy A50
Price: ₹ 19,999
Samsung’s bid to bring the A-series back is probably best defined by the Samsung Galaxy A50. Compared to its competitors in the category, the Samsung Galaxy A50 sports a triple camera setup in the back. There’s a 25MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra wide lens and a 5MP sensor for depth mapping. Even the front camera houses 25MP sensor.
It also has one of the bigger displays with a 6.3-inch display making it ideal for gaming or watching videos online. In case the 64GB internal storage isn’t enough, you always have the option of expanding it to 128GB.
ASUS Zenfone Max Pro M2
Price: ₹9,999
Asus’ Zenfone Max Pro M2 starts at ₹9,999 for its base model with 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The phones biggest selling point is its 5,000mAh battery that will last the whole day even if you indulge in some heavy gaming.
