Bentley's chairman called a doubter's bluff and dazzled the New York Auto Show with his sexy new car
Bentley threw a party this week at the New York Auto Show and showed off its EXP 10 Speed 6 concept.
Sometimes, automakers bring a hollow shell to car shows for display purposes. There's no engine, electronics, no functioning interior.
Bentley did not do this with the EXP 10.
Most people at the party kept themselves busy by enjoying the food, drink, and beautiful cars. But one person decided to question whether the gorgeous green Bentley concept was a real car.
The party stopped and company chairman Wolfgang Durheimer provided a quick answer. He ordered the sexy show car be fired up for everyone to hear. We then all marveled at the auditory glory of the sports car's throaty engine.
Although, Bentley hasn't confirmed any details on EXP 10's powerplant, it sounded a lot like a turbocharged V8.
Listen to it here. And be sure to turn up the volume. It's worth it.
