Ben & Jerry's is giving away free ice cream cones around the world
The Vermont-based company began celebrating Free Cone Day in 1979 as a way to thank its customers who supported the business during its first year, when it operated out of a converted petrol station in Burlington, according to Metro.
Ice cream lovers can get their hands on a complimentary cone of their preferred flavour between 12 p.m. and 8 p.m. at participating stores in 28 countries including the UK, US, Australia, and more.
You can find your nearest participating scoop store by searching with your address or postcode on Ben & Jerry's website.
Then simply head over to collect your free cone, and spend the time in the queue deciding which flavour you'll choose - whether it's Cookie Dough, Cherry Garcia, Chocolate Fudge Brownie, or any of the company's gazillion other flavours.
