Banners At WWDC Confirm Launch Of iOS 8 And OS X 10.10

With just a few hours left for WWDC to kick off, there are plenty of speculations regarding what can be unveiled at this Annual Conference by Apple. We have already shared with you the list of things that we think will be announced at this event.

In this list, we had also mentioned that Apple will be showing iOS 8 at this event. Adding fuel to these speculations, there are already large banners with the number "8" been put up at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, which is home to WWDC.

We already shared our wishlist from the iOS 8, and have also shared with you the list of eight things that we think we will get from this operating system.

As per images posted by The Verge, Apple has also started putting up a banner for the next OS X, at what appears to be Yosemite National Park in California. This cements the belief that the OS X too will be unveiled in today’s event.


Apart from the new iOS and OS X, there are rumors suggesting that Apple might be launching at least one iPhone at this event. It has been speculated that Apple will be launching two models of iPhone in 2014. One of them will come with a 4.7-inch display and the other will sport a 5.5-inch one. Over the weekend, an alleged video shot in the conference room of the Moscone Center in San Francisco had been posted online.

However, it was later dismissed to be a clever montage! Nevertheless, speculations regarding iPhone 6 debuting at this event are still doing the rounds. Gossip Mongers are also suggesting that the iWatch too might be showcased at this event. [The Verge]
