Salman Khan’s latest movie Bajrangi Bhaijaan has taken the country by storm and has become the fastest-ever Bollywood movie to collect Rs 100 crores at the Box office. The movie, which portrays the emotional journey of an Indian man to Pakistan, has touched millions of hearts in both the countries and is even being called Salman Khan’s best performance till date.

However, the producers of the movie have found themselves in a legal row about one particular song in the movie. The song is called Bhar Do Jholi and features Pakistani singer Adnan Sami as a qawwal who sings this qawwali at a Dargah in Pakistan. The song has been sung by Sami himself.

The producers’ rights over the song, however, have been questioned by a Pakistani qawwal called Amjad Sabri. He has claimed that the producers have used this song, which was his father Ghulam Farid Sabri’s creation, without his consent.

As per a report by Pakistani news channel Geo TV, the singer has decided to approach an Indian court over the matter. He has already applied for a visa and would soon be visiting the country to initiate the legal formalities.

Late Haji Ghulam Farid Sabri was a part of the singing duo Sabri Brothers, along with his brother Haji Maqbool Sabri. The duo played a key role in popularizing the form of qawwali in the west by doing several international shows.
