Feb 5, 2014, 00:10 IST
Nissan has brought its famous and world acclaimed GT Acedemy to India in association with Sony PlayStation 3. The academy picks up gamers who are really good at motorsport gaming and bring them to the real world race tracks. The training is hard and racing is harder. Nissan turns regular gamers into hardcore racers in a just few months.

This is an untradtional sport as it defies all the most common rules of motorsports and similar activities. The winner from Indian leg will be sent to other countries to participate and win the large bounty there. The Indian Nissan GT Academy qualifying rounds will take place in shopping malls with high footfalls. Anybody and everybody can participate and if you have the racing spunk in you, people at Nissan might just pick you up, train you and get you ready for a ride of a lifetime. Karun Chandhok has been picked up as the ambassador for the academy and seemed upbeat for the Indian leg.
