At least 2 dead after Amtrak train crashes near Philadelphia
Initial reports of casualties were fluid, with ABC reporting that "about 30" were injured.
Amtrak train 89, en route from New York to Savannah, Georgia, was carrying roughly 341 passengers and 7 crew, according to a statement from Amtrak.
Northeast Corridor service between New York and Philadelphia has been suspended for the time being as a result of the crash. The Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) has also suspended service on the Wilmington-Newark Line, according to NBC.
