As per the changes, Ford Aspire will now be available in a range of Rs 5.28 lakh and Rs 6.8 lakh for 1.2 litre petrol option. The prices for different variants of this sedan have been decreased from Rs 25,000 to Rs 91,000 depending on the trim level.
Similarly, the price for its diesel variant has seen a price cut ranging from Rs 25,000 to Rs 91,000 across different versions, making different models available between Rs 6.37 lakh and Rs 7.89 lakh.
Talking of Figo, after a price reduction ranging from Rs 29,000 to Rs 30,000 for the top end versions, the 1.2 litre petrol option will now be priced between Rs 4.54 lakh and Rs 6.29 lakh. On the other hand, the diesel option of the model, which is powered by 1.5 litre engine, will now be priced from Rs 5.63 lakh to Rs 7.18 lakh (all prices ex-showroom Delhi).

The realignment also enhances the accessibility of these outstanding products, which offer segment-first safety features and class-leading technologies," said Anurag Mehrotra, Ford India Executive Director for Marketing, Sales and Service.
It was in March this year that Ford India had reduced prices of EcoSport by up to Rs 1.12 lakh, just two days after India’s biggest carmaker Maruti Suzuki had launched its compact SUV Vitara Brezza starting from Rs 6.99 lakh.
A few days back, Maruti Suzuki India announced price hikes for various models by up to Rs 20,000, citing rising input cost and rupee depreciation.
