At the time of writing, Apple's system status page says its App Store, iTunes Store, iBooks Store, and Mac App Store are down for all users. Its other services, such as Apple TV, iCloud, and FaceTime are all working normally.

Earlier on Wednesday, blog The Next Web reported that the problem seemed to be inconsistent depending on your location.

For example, you'd be able to download apps from the Indian App Store, but music tracks wouldn't be accessible. Now, however, Apple's system status page indicates this service is unavailable for all users.

We've reached out to Apple for comment and will update this story accordingly.
