Apple announced that it sold TK million iPhones during the opening weekend.

This is TK than analyst expectations.

The new iPhone drew huge, enthusiastic crowds and long lines when it was released last Friday, despite the fact that there were no external changes to the device.

Part of the reason there were big lines is that the company didn't allow pre-orders of the new iPhone 5S. It seems Apple is having trouble manufacturing the S.

This year's opening weekend sales are TK compared to last year when it announced 5 million sold in the opening weekend. However, this year Apple is selling the iPhone 5C, which is a new, colorful, but cheaper model.
