They say that charity begins at home, but in PK-fame
A few months ago, we reported that Anushka Sharma has become the youngest Indian actress to turn a producer with her production house Clean Slate Productions, which she owns with her brother Karnesh. The first movie to be helmed by this sibling duo is NH10, directed by Navdeep Singh and co-produced by Phantom Films.
The trailer of the movie has been launched today, and those who have grown used to of watching Anushka do bubbly, girl-next-door roles will be in for a shock. In the first few scenes, Anushka and her co-star Neil Bhopalam share a nice chemistry and can be seen trying to get out of the traps of some local goons. Playing the leader of the goons is Darshan Kumaar, whom we all remember as Onler, Mary Kom's supportive husband in the bio-pic of the same name.
What has increased our interest in the film is the fierceness that Anushka shows in the latter parts of the trailer. A lady on a vengeance mission, she can be seen carrying an iron rod and a gun to save her skin and get the revenge for the love of her life.
You can watch the trailer here.
Well, all we need to say is this change was much-needed after the whole PK controversy, which must have left Anushka wanting for some praise for her portrayal of the journalist Jaggu.
