An IndiGo exclusive terminal in Mumbai Airport soon

Low-cost airline IndiGo may soon enjoy exclusivey rights toa terminal in GVK Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport. They are in talks with GVK for the same.According to ET Now, IndiGo will have to pay a premium for these exclusive rights.
GVK is yet to take a final call on IndiGo's request, but in case it agrees, GVK may shift all other carriers to the T2 terminal.
Meanwhile, in terms of market share, IndiGo remained the largest carrier by carrying 38.4% passengers during June. Jet Group came second by carrying 21.1% of total passengers.
SpiceJet reported the highest load factors of 93.2% during the month of June on the back of its discount offering followed by IndiGo that is at 86.6%, shows passenger data for June relased by DGCA.

Vistara operated its planes with least number of passengers and lowest load factors of 59.3% during a month when the passenger numbers grew by 16.03% and all airlines together carried 6.6 million passengers.
Vistara executives say that low load factors are because of low demand for premium and business class seats. The airline claims that load factors in the economy cabin of the aircraft are phenomenal.
